Department Uses Mobile Software to Manage Nuisance, Noise, Property and Safety Violations

The mission of the Code Enforcement Department of sunny coastal Palmetto is to improve the quality of life for the City’s 12,000 residents. Officers focus on the effective management of nuisances, maintenance and safety issues. The City recently selected Comcate’s affordable and intuitive Code Enforcement Manager software to improve officer efficiency in the field. Comcate software lets officers access case and property histories at the click of a button while onsite at a property. Citations can be printed and follow up visits scheduled without returning to the office. Photos and documents can be attached. Forms and letters are pre-populated. Reports can be easily generated to comply with grant requirements and to present to City Council on code enforcement activities.
