City Selects Web Software to Manage, Document, Report on Violation and Inspection Cases
Jun 2,2009
The City of Albany has over 76,000 residents with an ambitious redevelopment plan and a clear vision for the future. The Code Enforcement department wanted to efficiently serve citizens with software that would let officers and inspectors manage, document and report on code violation and inspection cases while in the field. The department required mobile software that would document their time spent on specific tasks and cases and transfer cases between officers. They wanted to schedule inspections, access inspections checklists, and document cases with photos, notes and documents. Officers also wanted software that would pre-populate corrections letters with the appropriate status, corrective actions and compliance deadlines, and manage multiple violations for each address parcel. They found all this functionality and more in Comcate’s affordable web software. Albany selected Comcate Code Enforcement Manager, Rental Inspections Manager, and GIS software for its ease of use, affordability and rich functionality. Comcate software increases code enforcement and inspection effectiveness and efficiency. For more information on Comcate code enforcement and inspections software, please email info@comcate.com.
